3 large lemons
1 orange
1 Cup sugar
6 Cup cold water
Thin slices of lemon and orange, optional


Juice the lemons. Pour juice through strainer into a 2-quart pitcher. Juice orange and add to pitcher. Stir in sugar and 2 cups water. Stir until sugar is dissolved. Add remaining 4 cups water, stir and refrigerate. To serve, fill tall glass with ice, add a slice of lemon and orange and fill with lemonade.
