8 Ounce package cream cheese, softened
1/3 Cup sugar
1 egg
1/8 Teaspoon salt
1/2 Cup miniature chocolate chips
2 1/4 Cup flour
1 1/2 Teaspoon baking soda
1/2 Cup baking cocoa
1 1/2 Teaspoon vanilla
1 1/2 Cup water
1 1/2 Cup sugar
1/2 Teaspoon salt
1/2 Cup vegetable oil
2 Tablespoon white vinegar


Combine cream cheese, 1/3 cup sugar, egg and 1/8 teaspoon salt in a small bowl and beat until smooth. Set aside. Combine remaining ingredients in the order given except the chocolate chips, in a large bowl. Blend well on low speed. Fill cupcake cups 2/3 full of batter. Spoon about 1 tablespoons of the cream cheese mixture into each cupcake. Sprinkle a few chocolate chips on each cupcake. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes or until cupcakes test done.
