1 1/2 Cup rice
1 broccoli head
3 carrots
1/2 Cup butter
1 Clove garlic, finely chopped
salt and pepper to taste
Dash of nutmeg
soy sauce


Prepare rice according to package directions. Wash and cut broccoli into bite-sized pieces. Steam broccoli for approximately 4 minutes. Wash and grate carrots and set aside. Melt butter and sauté garlic. Layer and serve on individual plates, starting with the rice, carrots, melted butter and broccoli. Sprinkle with salt, pepper, nutmeg and soy sauce.
