1 Cup vegetable oil
1/2 Cup balsamic vinegar
3 Tablespoon sugar
3 Tablespoon catsup
1 Tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
2 medium scallions (including tops), minced
1 Teaspoon salt
1/2 Teaspoon cracked black pepper
1 Teaspoon dry mustard
1 medium clove garlic, minced
Tabasco sauce to taste
4 chicken breasts


Combine all ingredients except the chicken breasts. Mix well. Add chicken; cover and refrigerate for 6 hours or overnight. Put chicken and marinade in a 9 x 9-inch baking dish and bake at 325 degrees for 40 minutes. Remove chicken from marinade and grill for 4 to 5 minutes on each side, or until tender and browned. Skim grease from remaining marinade and serve with chicken.
