1/4 Cup soy sauce
1 Tablespoon brown sugar
8 Ounce can whole water chestnuts, drained
12 Slice bacon


In a small bowl, mix soy sauce and brown sugar until sugar is dissolved. Stir in the water chestnuts and marinate for 15 minutes, stirring occasionally. Line baking sheet with foil. Cut bacon slices crosswise in half, drain water chestnuts and wrap each with a bacon slice and secure with a toothpick. Arrange on baking sheet and bake at 400 degrees for 15 to 20 minutes or until bacon is browned.
