14 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled

1 cup shredded Cheddar cheese

1 6-ounce jar mushroom slices, drained

1 tablespoon dried minced onion.

5 eggs

1 5-ounce can evaporated milk

1/4 teaspoon pepper

In a greased 9-inch microwave-safe pie plate, layer crumbled bacon, cheese, mushrooms and onion. Beat together eggs, milk and pepper and pour over the onions. Microwave, uncovered, on high for 6 minutes. Stir. Cook 2 to 3 minutes longer or until knife inserted in center comes out clean. Let stand 5 minutes before serving.
