1 1/2 Pound ground beef
1 egg
3/4 Teaspoon salt
2 Tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
3/4 Cup grated Cheddar cheese
1/2 Teaspoon black pepper
3 Tablespoon catsup
1/4 Cup chopped onion
9 slices bacon


Combine ground beef and the next 7 ingredients. Place bacon slices, side by side, on a cutting board. Shape ground beef mixture into an oblong roll and lay it across the bacon slices. Draw the bacon strips around the ground beef roll and fasten with toothpicks. Slice the roll between bacon strips. Shape and flatten the patties with your hand. Broil in oven or grill for approximately 5 to 7 minutes on each side. Makes 8 to ten patties.
