2    loaves white sandwich bread

       1/2    cup sugar

          2    teaspoons cinnamon

                Warm water

          3    pounds Jonathan apples

          1    20-ounce can raisins

In a large bowl, tear the bread slices into pieces. Add the sugar and cinnamon and enough warm water to moisten well. Wash, core and chop apples; add to the bread mixture, along with the raisins. Mix well. Stuff turkey and bake as usual. Extra stuffing may be baked in a lightly greased and covered baking pan at 350 degrees for an hour. (Note: Make stuffing ahead of time and refrigerate until ready to bake the turkey.)
