3 large potatoes, peeled and cubed

1 1/2 cups water

2 chicken bouillon cubes

2 tablespoons butter

2-3 cups milk

2 tablespoons flour

Cheese, if desired

Cook potatoes, water and bouillon cubes until potatoes are tender. Add butter and let melt. Add milk, reserving 2-3 tablespoons to mix with 2 tablespoons flour if soup isn't thick enough for your taste.Add cheese, if desired..
